How to get here

Most UK cities have direct flights to Faro International Airport all year round due to the popularity of the Algarve region.

Very cost effective flights can be booked from airlines such as Easyjet (Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Liverpool, Luton, Newcastle and London) and Monarch (Birmingham, London and Manchester). Ryanair now operate flights from Prestwick Airport, near Glasgow, and Edinburgh direct to Faro.

There are a wide range of car hire companies based at Faro Airport and our advice would be to pre book a vehicle on the internet prior to arrival to ensure availability in high seasons and also the lowest cost. Please see car hire page.

Driving from Faro to Boavista is easy, enjoyable and hassle free due to the excellent new road network. Your car hire representative will provide you with a map and directions from the airport but basically its a case of turning right out of the airport, joining the A22 motorway and following the signs initially to Lisbon, Portimao and then Lagos.

When you reach Lagos take the second turn off to Lagos and Vila do Bispo. When you reach the end of the road after a few miles turn right at the roundabout, signposted Vila do Bispo, and the Boavista Resort is about 500 meters on the left hand side.

Once you turn into the Resort drive up the hill and you will pass the 1st Golf Tee on the left and the Tennis courts on the right. Go straight on at the first mini roundabout you come to and then take a left turn at the second mini roundabout. You are now on the street where the apartment is located, keep driving until you come to the last apartment block on the left hand side. The apartment no is 61a and the keys will be in the lower white letterbox to the right of the main entrance.

On arrival you will be met by our local representative who will give you access to your holiday home, explain how everything works and leave you with a welcome pack of groceries. You will be able to contact our representative at any time during your stay.
